Michael T. Wiens | Partner
Michael Wiens joined our firm upon his call to the bar in 2013 and became a partner in 2017. He has a general practice with an emphasis on real estate and land use planning, business law, wills and estates. Michael also volunteers his time as a member of the Board of Directors for our local hospital, Erie Shores HealthCare.
Brenna L. Epp | Partner
Brenna Epp joined our firm in 2020 and became a partner in 2024. She obtained her law degree from Dalhousie University in Halifax and completed her articles in downtown Vancouver at an esteemed international law firm, where she gained invaluable experience in a variety of practice areas, including employment law and dispute resolution. Brenna enjoys practicing in the areas of real estate and land use planning, estate planning and administration and corporate/commercial law.
Kimberly A. Leschuk | Associate
Kim Leschuk became an associate lawyer at Sawatzkys LLP in 2023. She obtained her law degree from University of Windsor and completed her articles at a large downtown Windsor firm. She now offers services in the areas of real estate, landlord and tenant law and business law, while dedicating a large portion of her practice to estate planning (including wills and powers of attorney) and estate administration.
L. Suzanne Balzer | Of Counsel
Suzanne Balzer, a founding partner of the firm, was called to the bar in 1987 and has been in private practice in Leamington since then. Suzanne has recently assumed the role of providing advice and guidance to the firm, particularly in the areas of corporate commercial law and wills and estates.
Our lawyers are actively involved in the Essex County community, devoting their time to several charitable organizations both as legal counsel and Board of Directors members.
Our lawyers participate in the UNIFOR Legal Services Plan provided to autoworkers.
